We visit in the home or can meet elsewhere.
We have a monthly Support Group Meeting.
We have weekly Coffee Groups.
We have annual Mid-Winter and Christmas parties.
We organise and hold other adult and family events, school holiday fun and camps.
We offer confidentiality, care and companionship - people to walk beside you in your journey that hold no judgement.
We can attend with you when attending family court hearings, family group conferences and meetings.
We can assist and attend with you when dealing with the government agencies.
We can assist in finding school uniforms.
We can refer you to a beneficiary advocate or budgeting service.
We can assist with referrals for counseling for yourself and / or the children.
We can organise parenting courses, home help, respite, enrichment programmes and various other supports.
We can assist with emergency funding of necessities when no other options are available, including food parcels in the case of genuine hardship.
We can assist with supplies for the children when they first come into your care, or ongoing items if the need arises.
We collaborate with Age Concern, Love Soup, StepsForward Family Services, Future Whangaparaoa Trust, Coast Community Trust, Coast Youth Community Trust, Northgate Baptist/Salt Trust, Hibiscus Coast Community House, Manly Methodist Church, Red Beach Methodist Church, Youth in Transition, SeniorNet, Bellyful, Bunnings, Ray White Orewa .... to name just a few.
Together, we aim to support our families in whatever they might need !!
We offer practical support, and aim to wrap-around each family or individual to provide any assistance required, to the best of our ability.
If we cannot provide it ourselves, we find someone who can.
